What are this year’s Halloween Horror Nights dates for 2025?

  • Start Time: Halloween Horror Nights typically starts at 6:30 PM, with options to get in early.

How Many Haunted Houses & Scare Zones Are There for Halloween Horror Nights 2025?

  • 10 Haunted Houses
  • 5 Scare Zones
  • 2 Shows

What Haunted Houses are at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights in 2025?

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando features 10 brand-new haunted houses, 5 of which are original concept ideas by Universal Creative.
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s
  • The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks
  • Terrifier
  • Jason Universe
  • Fallout
  • Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters
  • Dolls: Let’s Play Dead
  • Grave of Flesh
  • Gálkn: Monsters of the North
  • El Artista: A Spanish Haunting

Five Nights at Freddy’s

Guests will fight to survive as they venture through an all-new haunted house inspired by the 2023 hit film “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” Blumhouse’s highest-grossing movie to date and an adaptation of the horror video game phenomenon.

Guests will follow in the footsteps of Mike, who was recently fired and desperate for work so that he can keep custody of his little sister, after he agrees to accept a position as a night security guard in an abandoned themed entertainment center: Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. The terror will start as guests navigate the corridors and learn that nothing at Freddy’s is what it seems when they encounter the supernatural and become lured into the black heart of an unspeakable nightmare.

The journey will bring guests face-to-face with full-scale replicas of the eerie characters from the film—Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and Mr. Cupcake—as they stalk visitors through iconic scenes, including the security room and the showroom where the chilling characters performed. The larger-than-life characters for the haunted houses were created in collaboration with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, who also masterfully produced the animatronics and corresponding costumes for the fan-favorite film.

Fallout

For the first time ever, horror fans will step into the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Prime Video’s Fallout, in an all-new terrifying haunted house at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. Based on the award-winning global video game franchise from Bethesda Game Studios, “Fallout” was a critically acclaimed hit with audiences worldwide when it debuted on Prime Video in 2024. The cinematic series is set in the year 2296, two hundred years after a nuclear war destroyed civilization. All that is left is an eradicated and highly violent hellscape known as The Wasteland crawling with mutated animals and creatures, while gentle citizens take refuge underground in luxury fallout shelters known as Vaults.

In this terrifying haunted house, fans will encounter iconic scenes and characters that will put them into the frightening action of the popular series.

Terrifier

The twisted world of Art the Clown comes to life in this year’s all-new “Terrifier” haunted house inspired by the slasher film franchise that has consistently terrorized filmgoers since 2008. Terrifier introduced a new slasher film series to the cinematic world, featuring Art the Clown, a supernatural entity who terrorizes the fictional town of Miles County, New York, on Halloween and tortures victims in creatively cruel and sickeningly sinister ways.
The Terrifier film franchise has evolved to become 3 chilling and gory movies with a 4th film in development and a Halloween Horror Nights haunted house on the way.

Jason Universe

Halloween Horror Nights gives rise to horror movie icon Jason from the infamous "Friday the 13th" films in the all-original haunted house, “Jason Universe,” which takes guests back to the summer camp where the gruesome legend was born. For 45 years, Jason has tormented audiences worldwide and is considered one of the most notorious villains in cinematic history.
“Jason Universe” will take Halloween Horror Nights guests on a vengeance tour throughout the summer camp to see where it all began, from the creaking floorboards of Jason’s ramshackle cabin to the decaying main lodge and the eerie forest that offers no refuge for his victims.

WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks

Guests will be immersed in the world of WWE in the bi-coastal haunted houses “WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks,” where they will go head-to-head with Uncle Howdy in an experience that not only features The Wyatt Sicks, but honors the legacy of Bray Wyatt. The group derives from the creative mind of Bray Wyatt and was resurrected in 2024 by his brother Bo Dallas, also known as Uncle Howdy – the fearless leader of The Wyatt Sicks.
The chilling crew of five has quickly emerged as one of the most disturbing and disruptive groups in WWE history with its ominous presence and portrayal of dark and twisted characters – all of which will come to life at Halloween Horror Nights this fall.
Horror fans brave enough to travel through the light of the lantern will find themselves transported into the maniacal minds of The Wyatt Sicks, where each member reigns supreme within their own horrific domains. There, Uncle Howdy together with Ramblin Rabbit, Mercy the Buzzard, Abby the Witch and Huskus the Pig will be waiting to take bloody retribution on a world that has abandoned them.
Along the way, guests will be stalked by the eerie presence of The Fiend, Bray’s sadistic alter ego, who looms within the shadows and beckons them to let him in.

Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters

In this Old West town, all hell is breaking loose. Red-hot lava demons are trying to possess everyone, melting everything in their path. Your only hope: Hatchet and Chains with their mystical weapons.

Dolls: Let’s Play Dead

You’re about to become doll-sized and witness the unnatural creations of a twisted little girl. You’ll be hunted by burnt fashion dolls, toys she’s melded together and undead horrors in her dollhouse.

Grave of Flesh

Welcome to your funeral, where things are about to go from bad to worse. You’ll enter your grave and then the underworld, where flesh-eaters who feed on the dead will hunt you for all eternity.

Gálkn: Monsters of the North

In a remote northern village, a wicked being rises from the dead, bringing a horde of monsters and demons from the fjords to wreak havoc on the townspeople. Try to escape the belly of the beast.

El Artista: A Spanish Haunting

In 19th century Spain, a tortured artist moves to an isolated country manor to seek inspiration. Instead, the art comes alive and possesses him. You’re about to be part of the permanent exhibition.

Best Tips for Attending Halloween Horror Nights 2025

Here are some tips and tricks to make the most out of your Halloween Horror Nights experience.

Watch the Movies:

Before you come to HHN, binge watch the movies or TV shows that are featured in this year’s event. You’ll be able to truly appreciate the houses by recognizing the iconic scenes, details, and characters.

Buy Your Halloween Horror Nights Tickets in Advance

Halloween Horror Nights requires a separate ticket from regular theme park admission. Make sure to purchase in advance

Know the Best Days to Go to Halloween Horror Nights

Attend Halloween Horror Nights on off peak nights. Aim to visit Universal Orlando for HHN Sunday through Thursday’s. You’ll be able to take advantage of the lower crowd levels, and snag cheaper HHN tickets. If all all possible try to avoid weekends and the days closes to Halloween weekend.

Set a Halloween Horror Nights Budget Before You Arrive

All of the yummy HHN food, drinks and merchant can add up real fast. Especially if you are already splurging on Stay and Scream and/or HHN Express Passes.
Pro Tip: If you’re going with a group of friends, consider splitting the HHN food + drinks so you can try more, and spend less money.

Consider buying Halloween Horror Nights Express

HHN Express Passes are worth it, BUT it really depends on when you're going, and if your goal is to do all 10 houses in 1 night. I’d definitely recommend it if you can only do one night, or are wanting to go on Fridays and Saturdays in October, especially closer to Halloween.
Pro Tip: You can buy an HHN Express Pass that's half the original price but it only works after 11 p.m. Just keep in mind that it’s subject to availability.

Arrive Early

This is SUPER important. Arriving early is hands down the best way to make the most of your night. The event typically begins at 6:30 p.m., but Universal often lets guests in up to half an hour early.
Utilizing Universal Orlando's Stay & Scream Early Entry will also set you up to knock out a few houses before it gets really busy later at night.
Pro Tip: Universal Resort hotel guests also have a dedicated line from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the left side of the entrance.

Have a Flexible Halloween Horror Nights Game Plan

Plan in advance what your priorities are. - Review the HHN park map and make a list of what haunted houses you want to do and in which order. Map out your night based on where and when you'll be starting. This is absolutely key to HHN, especially if you want to do as many houses as possible.
Pro tip: Start with the haunted houses at the back of the park and make your way towards the front as the night goes on.

Don’t Forget Your ID and Wallet

Remember to pack your ID, HHN tickets, and wallet, Believe it or not this happens to a lot of guests visiting for HHN.

Start in the Back of Universal Studios Florida

The haunted houses near the front of the park tend to get crowded first. Start with the houses in the back of the park and you’ll be able to get half of the haunted houses done quickly.

Stay Hydrated

Halloween Horror Night requires a great deal of standing in lines, walking and of course sweating. When you add consuming multiple HHN alcoholic drinks, it can lead to horrible night later on. Bring a collapsible water bottle to survive all the waling and to stay to cool. You can get free water from the Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines.

Pack and Dress Light

It’s still hot in Orlando during September and October, even at night! Wear cool, comfortable clothes, and broken in supportive shoes. Skip a big backpack and opt of a fanny pack or small backpack/drawstring bag. Your back will thank you when you get back to the hotel.

Eat Beforehand

Eat a meal with some sustenance and fuel up before you leave the hotel in the early afternoon/evening. You don’t want to be hangry, and often times the HHN food booth lines get really really long. This is also a great way to save money on food in the parks.
Pro Tip: HHN Food lines are typically way shorts after 11:00pm.
